Candidate Profile

Sir Stephen
Oribamise

Born in Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, to the family of the Late James Oribamise Iyaya and Lucia Omoboja. A product of this soil. A product of this constituency.

For over 3 decades, Sir Stephen Ojo Oribamise served the Federal Republic through the National Orientation Agency, rising from Orientation Officer II to Assistant Director in Charge of General Duties. He knows how the federal civil service works, how constituency funds move, and how federal legislation reaches the grassroots, because he spent his career at that intersection.

He has served this constituency as a youth leader, a union chairman, a community officer, and a church leader. The Federal House of Representatives is the next step in a life already defined by public service.

Why He Is Running

3+ decades inside the federal civil service taught Sir Oribamise one clear lesson: policy is only as good as the representative who fights for its implementation at the constituency level. Roads, schools, health centres, and power infrastructure do not arrive by default. They arrive because someone at the federal level is relentless.

His record across community organisations, union leadership, and public service roles in both Nigeria and the United States shows a man who has never waited to be asked before stepping forward. The 2027 election is his opportunity to convert a lifetime of service into direct legislative action for the people of Oye and Ikole Local Governments.
